Where can I download all 2008 presidential campaign donations to date?

Seems like a pretty basic thing to have. Just checked the FEC site, and I could not find it in a single file or single file per candidate format. Even the page for Barack Obama had only half the donors he supposedly has. Any tips on where to find it on the FEC site? Anywhere else I can download it in Excel, CSV, or any other useful format?Where can I download all 2008 presidential campaign donations to date?
May I ask why do you need to know this information? Is it plain curiosity?





I know, since we are being funded by S A.. , you may need to know if there's any foreign interest trying to move the pieces...isn't it? though, I don't really think they'll support a democrat..they'll stay with the republicans...

Anzi, ti dare il mio parere...troppi soldi spesi in una persona. Con quel soldi si potrebbe soluzionare tanti problemi, per conseguenza non ci sarebbe bisogno dei candidati. E un vero spreco!!


La nostra America ha bisogno d'un sistema di sicurezza sociale...universale. Salute uguale per tutti. Per me, a parte della questione dell'Iraq e fondamentale.





Ma non sono La. In ogni caso, voter貌 per un democrata...ma donna. Fin'ora n茅 mia figlia 猫 riuscita a convincermi d'altro.

Campaign finance reform tells you those records are only accessible if Congress subpoenas them.


You and I may not access them, and so Hillary and Obama get away with murder, getting Chinese and overseas money for their campaigns, while any Republican has to stay squeaky clean to avoid a press extortion campaign.

The site OpenSecrets.org has all that info. Remember, though, the data only has to be reported at certain times of the year so it will never be current.
