US Proposition 1. Breaking a campaign promise should carry the death penalty for the official who does it?

How would you vote? YES or NO

If you would amend the proposition, then how?US Proposition 1. Breaking a campaign promise should carry the death penalty for the official who does it?
I'd vote yes, but that would mean the mass execution of every politician ever elected.US Proposition 1. Breaking a campaign promise should carry the death penalty for the official who does it?
No. Nobody who campaigns can make actual promises. The legislative process isn't set up that way. People who vote on a campaign promise are not very intelligent in thinking that any politician has the power to promise anything at all other than to do his job honestly and above board and to say what he would like for his administration. Many people vote on legislation that are not all on the same page.
While I think that there should be more accountability from our elected officials, come on the death penalty. If you notice with President Obama, He made numerous statements and promises, then when he was elected the secret service informed him of how it really was. National security stops us from truly knowing all that is going on, and honestly would scare the heck out of a lot of people. I notice how after his briefing he basically went with what Senator Cain had been promoting all along. You also have to consider that some elected officials do try but can't because of other constituents. How about we just execute the ones that are found to be crooked or cheating on their taxes, while increasing ours.

We also might include legislators that increase their wages and their employees wages while raising our taxes. We do with less while they grab more.
I vote NO. A vote yes would be a vote for anarchy, as nearly all elected officials would have to be executed.
NO That would raise the stakes of ';gotcha'; to new heights. But on the other hand it would all but remove the repugnicants from the political scene.
Then everyone who runs for office would receive the death penalty
love it. then we can get new people to run are country.
