What do you think about campaign funding laws?

Do you think that the taxpayer ought to pick up the tab, whatever it costs? Do you think the candidate should put up the money, whatever it costs? Do you think there should be limits? Should contributions be allowed? Who should pay and how for the hundreds of millions of dollars spent?What do you think about campaign funding laws?
I believe the costs of campaigning are getting out of hand and limitations should be established. But the day after this election or any other election, they will be conveniently forgot like the abortion and drug abuse issues and etc.What do you think about campaign funding laws?
