Did mccain start off his campaign on change or is he just copying obama since he got such high support ?

That old geezer talks so much about change its ridiculous. There isn't gonna be any change , same **** same smell. He is gonna promise us the world and once he gets elected , its gonna be the same thing. We need some real change , and obama is the man.Did mccain start off his campaign on change or is he just copying obama since he got such high support ?
McSame McCopy Obama because he knew it was working for Obama (=Did mccain start off his campaign on change or is he just copying obama since he got such high support ?
Like Obama's pick on Biden is going to bring change, either? Please. Biden's been decomposing in the senate even longer than McCain. If Obama really wanted to change things, he would've picked someone who might actually help bring about this promised change.

And no, I think McCain is phrasing things differently, I think he always wanted to change things up. What type of change is initiated, that is for the People to decide come November.

You're the kind of person who calls McCain names, but if someone called Obama something just as negative, you'd be crying racism. Age discrimination is no better.
Change is such a vague descriptive term for anyone to use espicially when it comes to political ideas. How about Obama define what he means by change and how his administrations will implement those changes. He has not done that and neither has any democrat since FDR explained what their new ideas are. They just keep chanting change so if the democrats can do it then so can republicans. We can just chant change change change over and over so we can lure uninquisitive voters to our side.
Prior to this election, the press has called McCain ';The Maverick';. He was given the name because he freq stepped across party lines and worked for... anyone? That is right ';change';. He did this so often that he that he lost conservative support from his party.

So, now Obama is angry that they are calling themselves the original mavericks? Sorry, but McCain at least was.

No....Senator McCain ran his whole premise on experience until his VP pick when this suddenly switched to his campaign running on the premise of change. The experience premise must have no longer been valid.

Because of this, many Republicans I know, do not care to support that ticket and many Independents like myself are going Democrat.
I get a kick out of the Democrats and how hung up they are on this one word..'; CHANGE'; I wonder, when did they get the patent on the word? It is a perfectly average word... actually I use it a lot myself.. just in my everyday work. Change that letter, change your shirt.. etc etc. So NOW Obama owns it? Is that it?

Maybe if they concentrated more on their own candidate and the drivel that comes out of his mouth.. and less on one word they would get somewhere.

The big difference here is that McCain/Palin are promising a change that just might be possible.. that might be likely.. not some pie in the sky change that Obma is dreaming up. He is going to do this and that and the next thing.. all the while not proving than any one of these promises could ever be kept... without one shred of evidence that he even knows what he is talking about. And daily.. he is the one '; changing'; his mind and copying either Hillary or McCain.

Give me a break.. it is just a word.. stop whining, Dems!
McSame never talked about change, never even discussed it at all...now that he has that narrow minded conservative palin on his side, all of a sudden...they want change...I think McSame is too damn old to be president and people have to wake up and realize that Palin is not running for president but McSame is...there will never be any ';change'; with those two, reason being they are republicans and they believe that what Bush is doing is right. Come on now, do we need these republicans in the office for four more years? Hell no!! we do need change and that change is with Obama!!
republicans have always used disinformation.. lies.. smears..

everything they accuse the dems of they are guilty of themselves..

they name everything oxymorons.. like ';the patriot act'; is actually quite the opposite of anything patriotic.. it basically recinded the us constitution bill of rights! but if they named it the repeal of the us bill of rights.. even the stupid people would feel alarm.. so the republicans.. named it the patriot act.. and now everyone can feel safe.. as our liberties and protections from our own govt are eroded.

mcain says change.. but .. they have always said what it takes to get elected.. then once elected they are just 4 year dictators.. and dont really give a crap about public opinion .. or the common good.

a mcain presidency will continue the systematic destruction of the united states of america.. as started and defined by bush... and his promised new world order.

the end result is a new country.. without the protections of the us constitution.. composed of canada mexico and the usa.. a corporate run country with plenty of slaves and a few ceo's to rule us all...

mcain focus's on the issues.. like abortion.. like the fable of experience..obama's physical characteristics.. his sob story of his greatest failure .. when he got shot down.. and captured.. or mabye his biggest failure was when he lost 4 or 5 jets.. or mabye his biggest failure was when he almost sunk a us aircraft carrier. mcain focuses on non issues.. instead of the economy.. the war.. political corruption.. election fraud, treason by bush.. etc.

since i honestly believe dibold and the cia which owns it.. run and rig our elections.. i predict mcain is the next president..

this sham of a democracy will continue till we secure our right to vote..

but no media talks about that do they.. the day we get our right to vote back.. or have our votes counted.. the media's owners are screwed..

bush.. mcain.. same sh** different as*****
I have to agree, McCain started pitching ';Change!'; well after Obama. McCain has always said his slogan was the mavrick. My party is full of liers, hypocrits, and now slogan thieves.

It sucks I am voting democratic this election. McCain just reminds me to much of Mr. Magoo.
Obama stands for ';Change you can believe in'; But only if you fall for it. You can believe a shadow is a portrait of a religious figure is people tell you it is. Mack stands for';Change you can count on'; meaning it is real.
He had to change his message, look at the 26 years he has been in Congress, he's now saying, I will change my mind of all the things I have stood for these past 26 years, We know that's not True either, he already said, he would declare War against Iran and Russia.
Once again, he shows he has no scruples.

If he can openly and publicly STEAL Obama's platform of change, just imagine what he and the Republicans will do behind closed doors and the hackable electronic voting machines.
neither. If you paid attention and go back far enough you'll find that he's repeating GWB's ';change'; from 2000. in fact the speeches were nearly identical. has he said ';If elected I will restore integrity to Washington'; yet? if not, it won't be long before he does.
no. in the beginning everyone new he represented a huge change toward the center from bush. gradually the lib-fib that he dosent caught on so he is clarifying. its not that complicated.
Actually, McCain was talking change before Obama was born.

Obama (a lawyer) forgot to copyright his favorite word.

He does live up to change - changes his mind on a hourly basis.
He started the thing called change on Friday, Sep. 5 when he announced his choice for v.p.

Obama has been campaigning for change since Feb. 2007.

See the f***ing difference?
Obama is just smoke and mirrors. And people are falling for his smooth talking left and right! Even the terrorists want to see him win!
He's beating Obama at his own game!

McCain/Palin 2008

Change we can believe in

Hope for a better tomorrow

So in the beginning RETURDS we saying that he wasn't a flip flopper. Now with him ';stealing'; Obama slogan there is PROOF that he is a FLIP FLOPPER!!!!!!!!!!!
He doesn't have to do anything, as most recent gallup polls show McCain in the lead.
';He is gonna promise us the world and once he gets elected , its gonna be the same thing.';

You nailed Obama to a T!
Every campaign in the history of man has used ';change'; as a slogan.
Obama is done, Nobody is going to vote for Radical
The only thing Mccain will change are his depends.
The ultimate flip flop. Steal your rival's slogan. LOL!
Copying Obama's since he doesn't have his own mind.
The first two ladies are correct
You know the answer to that. He took it.
You should ask Obama how many speeches he's stolen while you're at it. Obama's gonna promise us the world and once he gets elected, it's gonna be the same thing as others have said before him, since he's saying what others before him have said...literally.

Plagiarism refers to another person’s intellectual creations being passed off as one’s own. Plagiarism is not nullified because the material was used with permission, which until caught by the media, Senator Obama did not have (permission) in regards to Deval Patrick’s speeches. Senator Obama uses his speeches, and their reactions, as evidence that he is connecting with his audience through his own power, and thus based on that power and it’s unique capacity to inspire citizens, we should elect him to office. Senator Obama has plagiarized speeches, songs, and entire passages of dialogue from film and television. Additionally, a large portion of Senator Obama’s speeches that were not plagiarized were written by his very young and White speech-writer Jon Favreau, NOT Senator Obama.

Obama talks so much about change, yet his track record has shown he hasn't been all that good with making things change. Come on Democrats, tell us as a Senator what good/useful bills Obama passed and did, WITH proof! You can't? Go figure. You want someone you know little about as President. Smart! Good way of helping improve this country. Hang on words and not on experience. Dangerous. Very dangerous. His past and past associations, even into this presidential run, show his motives.

A quote, from him, from his own book. Just hope another 9/11 doesn't happen.

“In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans … have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging,” he laments. “I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

Defend him now.
No thats not the way he started, but he realizes that people are desperate for change, so he switched his focus...

and thats just fine with me!
